Our girls are well-loved members of our family. Prior to breeding, all of our females (and males!) are tested through PennHIP as well as OFA Heart and Thyroid. As of 2014, we will be implementing genetic color testing into our program as well. We feel it is important to allow our girls to recouperate fully from each litter, and since they are individuals we do not follow a set heat cycle pattern on breeding. We work closely with our mentors and vet to determine what is in the best interest of our Danes and their puppies.
