Who Are We, Anyway?

 

Hello! We are Jon & Linsey, the humans behind Velcro Danes. We live in Utah County, Utah with our pack of lovable Danes and our wonderful son, Chase. We have a immense love for all dogs and that passion and interest has made its way into most areas of our lives. We own and operate a doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility in Orem, UT and enjoy helping people become even better pet owners through education.

 

We are very family-oriented people and view our Danes as family members. We enjoy camping and boating, and so do our dogs. We love to garden and have great interest in self-sustainability and homesteading. We hope to move our family to acerage in the future. 

 

Through working professionally with dogs and their owners, we developed a love for Great Danes in particular. Their overall temperament, needs, and goofball antics made them such a perfect fit for our family and lifestyle. Our love of the breed grew exponentially when we brought our first one home- Zailey. She constantly amazed us. Her disposition is one of the most exceptional I’ve encountered in all my years of working with canines. We were hooked, and several more Danes joined our pack family- each one just as amazing.

 

Our Danes have brought so much joy to our home and we love being able to share this wonderful breed with other enthusiasts.  It is our mission to produce healthy, mentally sound Great Danes with solid conformation and exceptional temperaments.
